Les tâches

• Diagnose equipment issues related to engines, transmissions, electrical, hydraulic, diesel, and emissions systems using computerized systems and testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain air compressor units at client locations. Perform preventative maintenance (oil/fluid checks, lubrication, cleaning), and repair/replace defective parts, components, and systems, including major engine overhauls.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner.
• Document work orders and reports.
• Ensure all work adheres to on-site safety requirements, regulations, and environmental standards.
• Explain technical issues and solutions to clients and relevant stakeholders.
• Perform any other related tasks as needed.

Exigences du poste

• Willingness to travel to locations across BC and possibly Canada
• Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
• Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract
• Proficiency with tools
• Ability to read blueprints
